None But The Righteous Shall Be Saved

The Bible tells us everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and only that which is unshakeable, because of God’s righteousness, shall remain. The Holy Spirit is stirring a determination in God’s people to do our part and stand against the devices of the devil used in our time. First, let’s look at some that stood in righteousness in the past: God promised Judah and Jerusalem that they would be saved and dwell safely because they’d be identified with The One called: “THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Only the eight people inside Noah’s ark were saved from the flood. In Egypt, the death angel only spared the life of first-borns whose house was covered by the blood of the lamb. Abraham appealed to the Judge of all the earth not to destroy the righteous along with the wicked of Sodom. Does Christ expect any less obedience to live righteously in our time? God forbid.

Few would argue that the world is not experiencing perilous times as Paul told Timothy. Is it not high time for Christ’s church to revive and take a stand in righteousness? We know that righteousness is fulfilled in us whenever we choose to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. All of our righteousness is like filthy rags. Everything sin touches, it kills, but the Spirit gives life to it. We need not be fearful, uncertain or doubtful regarding any Holy Spirit-directed pursuit because Christ has already decreed: “The gates (power and authority) of hell shall not prevail against his church.” It’s time for every disciple and ambassador to come alive to the truth and righteousness of Christ and do the will of God in our decisions, professions, and actions. Born-again believers have been given the ministry and word of reconciliation. Let’s tell of our encounters and experiences with Christ and demonstrate that the kingdom of God is still here to transform lives for the better. It will be confirmed that Christ is still alive and desires to touch others through us. Let’s allow the righteousness of Christ in us to turn people back to God. Only through the power and authority of the Holy Ghost, can we be witnesses of the righteousness of Christ. When we are made righteous through the blood of Christ, we can expect to be saved from the wrath that is to come and help others to expect the same. It’s time to develop and fortify strongholds of righteousness where ever the Holy Ghost directs.

Let the Holy Spirit remind you from the scriptures of what we can expect from the Lord: “If my people that are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.” “When the land sins against me and I stretch forth my hand against it, even though righteous men like Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it…they should save only themselves by their righteousness.” “The righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all of their troubles” “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from them all.”
