No, I am not an alarmist, nor a fear monger nor a false prophet, but this is indeed a warning against the evil that continues to occur in our time. We can depend upon this, that whenever the Lord issues a warning, it comes with instructions on how to avoid or how to prepare for the looming or imminent destruction.
It is high time for the nations to turn back to God. We can do it with the help of the Holy Spirit, the one who was sent to earth to give Christ’s followers an advantage over all of the schemes of the devil. Since Christ’s ascent to heaven, the Holy Ghost has continued to move throughout the world, seeking to reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgement. Of sin, because the disobedient refuse to believe in Jesus Christ and receive him as their Savior and Lord. He’s reproving the world of righteousness, because of the truth that the resurrection did occur. The power of God raised Jesus from the dead, and Jesus is now sitting at the right hand of God’s power–interceding for us and giving the Holy Spirit instructions on how to help all who are willing humble themselves, express a desire to hear his voice and choose to be led by him. Notwithstanding, the Spirit of the Lord also is reproving the world of judgment, because the prince of this world is already judged. What does that mean? Satan, and all of his workers know that the father of lies is defeated. Jesus conquered the devil and paraded and led him as a captive in plain view, with all of the spirits in heaven, earth, and underneath the earth witnessing the destruction and the dethroning of his merciless lordship over the souls of men. Our Lord spoiled (and took away) all of that power and authority from the devil and instead, it is given to those who choose to believe and receive Christ, trust God, and please him with their faith-filled lifestyle. God’s true desire and expectation is for all of mankind to turn back to him.
So then, what is consternation and what does the Holy Spirit want us to do about it? “Consternation” is a feeling of anxiety, dismay (discouragement), fear or panic over something that happened suddenly or surprisingly. And consternation will come upon those who refuse to turn away from sin to the true and living God. Our Heavenly Father is the only one that can give them true peace and keep them safe during perilous times. In the Book of Proverbs 1:23-33, we see the spirit of wisdom crying out for all mankind to turn from their evil ways, to turn at the reproof of the Lord. The Holy Spirit is still crying out today, through the wisdom that has been imparted to Christ’s present-day disciples, ambassadors and witnesses. And for all of those who choose to disregard God’s hand, meaning God’s help or God’s way of working things out, or if they refuse his godly counsel; it will not go well. These that scorn the good ways of the Lord, can with certainty, expect to experience fear, desolation, destruction, distress and anguish, and torments of every kind. These woes, without fail, shall come upon them. Needless to say, whenever the disobedient choose to do things their own way, they only prove by their actions, that they hate the knowledge of God and do not choose the fear (honor and reverence) of God or his ways. These are the people that the Bible declares will “eat the fruit of their own way and be filled with their own devices.” And there shall be no respecter of persons.
In other words, by their own actions, the wicked will have proved to God that they don’t want or need his help regardless of whether “consternation” comes. So, God has decided that only those who choose to listen and cover themselves in the fear of the Lord can expect to “live in safety and not fear the evil” that’s sure to come.
I beg of you to take heed to this warning. As Moses implored the Israelites and Egyptians of his time, to safeguard themselves against the consternation from the death angel passing over, and also as Jonah in his day was charged with warning the wicked people of Nineveh to repent of their iniquities in order to escape the wrath of God…so also the Holy Spirit is directing me to warn men and women in our time that: “CONSTERNATION” Is Coming! And how should the people prepare?
INSTRUCTIONS–Prepare/ Avoid (The Violence of the “CONSTERNATION” That’s Coming)
- Read, meditate on, and ask for revelation of these scriptures (Proverbs 1:23-33)
- Repent and humble self, giving own life as a sacrifice to God (I Peter 5:6; Romans 12:1)
- Renew one’s mind to think like Christ (Proverbs 23:7; Romans 12:2; Philippians 2:5, Philippians 4:4-9; I Corinthians 2:16)
- Run to and Revive in the gathering of a governing church which the Holy Spirit guides you to (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:22-23, 3:10)
In conclusion, take to heart what the Bible says in (Proverbs 16:18) and Remember that both pride and warnings go before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. All who think they’re mocking God by their disobedience are only deceiving themselves. God CANNOT be mocked, but mankind can, and certainly will be mocked, if they choose to deny the will of God (Galatians 6:7; James 1:22; Proverbs 1:24-32).
Hear the Holy Ghost…
