Let’s go fishing for souls. What if we could publish this proclamation everywhere: “ATTENTION! ALL WHO HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS…COME TO CHRIST, AND YOU SHALL BE FILLED…AND YOU SHALL BE BLESSED,” to what degree would that add to the kingdom of God and His righteousness? Read Matthew 5:6; 6:33 as references for this proclamation. It’s time for the kingdoms of this world to become the kingdoms of the Lord! It’s time to accelerate our efforts in executing The Great Commission. Read Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20, and II Corinthians 5:17-21.
Imagine that God had given you a craft where you could offer five-minute “fishing tours,” tours that would “Fill Inner Spiritual Hunger (F.I.S.H.).” Well, that is exactly what God has given to me in having me to build EBM (Elvera Baker Ministries). The Lord showed me that He desired to use this ministry as craft for growth and development of souls that are believers in Christ, a type of “learning depot” to help those who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness and truth, to help those who are weary, hurting and broken, and to help those who crave to end the trends that spin their lives into cycles of “ever-learning-yet-never-coming-to-the-knowledge-of-the-truth.” Read Matthew 5:6, Matthew 11:28-30, and II Timothy 3:7 as points of reference. All who are willing and choose to obey the instructions of the Holy Ghost can learn to do well and demonstrate the markings of a transformed life. Read Isaiah 1:17-18 and Romans 12:2.
Yes, one day I received a vision from God which revealed that Christ was about to expand the reach of how He had allowed me to minister to others. In the vision, I saw the Lord transform my note pad and the pen in one hand to fingers on both hands that struck the keyboard, engaging the internet. At that moment, the Holy Spirit directed me to read Deuteronomy 18:18 and I heard these words: “SPEAK ALL THAT I SHALL COMMAND YOU (S.A.T.I.S.C.Y.), and I was impressed to see the acronym that was formed from these words . In the realm of the spirit, that is when EBM was birthed. The Lord allowed me to seek confirmation of the words that He had spoken and the vision that He had given. I know of a certainty that on these fishing tours, the Holy Spirit has shown me to ( “S.A.T.I.S.C.Y.” ) only, or in other words, to speak all that the Lord shall command of me to speak and nothing of my own creation. In so doing, Christ will allow both the hungry and the hurting to be discipled, those near and far all around the world. On these fishing tours we will be guided by the Holy Spirit Who will engage the tour in time slots that shall not overburden or abuse anyone’s schedule. For anyone whom the Spirit of the Lord shall draw to this ministry, that person’s purpose in God shall be impacted. We will be speaking for roughly five minutes, more or less. These talks, which we will refer to as tours, will involve teachings and trainings which will help to result in transformed lives.
The tours will seek to engage, help to stablize, maintain, and eventually dispatch souls-strenthened in God’s might and able to serve others. These fishing tours shall NOT be launched, charted or navigated through the presumptiveness of man’s wisdom, but through the wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit. Undergirding each tour, will be the opportunity to discover many deceptions about the wisdom and insightfulness of the ungodly and reveal in no uncertain terms why this kind of wisdom does NOT benefit and also why it shall be destroyed and done away with by the righteousness of God. The tours are devised to give the hungry the knowledge and bring them to the acceptance of the truth that God has made JESUS to become our Wisdom, our Righteousness, our Sanctification or Holiness, and our Redemption. Therefore, we do NOT think, speak or put into practice the wisdom of the world, nor the princes of the world, but we think, speak, and put into practice the wisdom of God. Read these scriptures for points of reference: I Corinthians 1:19, 30; 2:6-7.
Let’s pray and seek God’s face concerning such tours that are designed by God to fill inner spiritual hunger. God is waiting for all who will submit and surrender to this S.A.T.I.S.CY. approach , to speak all that God shall command one to speak. When we pray, we should think about our covenant in the Lord. When we are covenanted with the Godhead, there is a part of our purpose that God will do and there is a part that we must do. We CAN’T do God’s part, and God WON’T do our part. As we choose to embark upon these special tours, let’s ask the Father to help us and to pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate areas in our life where we are trying to avoid letting go of things that the Spirit of truth is telling us to get rid of. By the same token, we must learn to accept or embrace any neglected things that the Lord has been nudging us include and fill our lives with in order to please Him. Let’s tell the Lord that we are willing to obey and that we want to obey Him in all that He asks of us. Let’s ask Him to help us to be successful in thinking, speaking, and doing all that pleases Him.
In striving to do these things, the Lord will help us to achieve pure hearts and hearts that are undergirded in love, full of faith and fixed on doing God’s will. We will have clean hands, unburdened shoulders, unyoked necks, unshakled feet, clear consciences, renewed, sober and sound minds and mouths that speak truth with wisdom. Wow! What a tour, Let’s go fishing with those who know how to F.I.S.H. (Fill Inner Spiritual Hunger) Godspeed!
